Find local help choosing an exterior door that works with your opening, frame and hardware. We help Rogue Valley homeowners and builders with product selection, measurements and eligible custom preparation before an order is finalized.

A custom door unit at Moore’s Doors. Product options and preparation are confirmed for each project.
The door panel and a complete framed unit are different starting points. First decide what you hope to retain, then ask our team to review the opening and preparation requirements.
01
Record the door size, thickness, frame condition, hinge positions and existing lock preparation. A similar advertised width alone does not confirm that another door will fit.
02
Bring the opening dimensions and photos showing both sides. Confirm frame depth, swing and what is included in the proposed unit before ordering.
03
Show us the condition of the door, frame and hardware. We can help you review replacement-product and eligible preparation options before you choose the next step.
Keep each measurement labeled and mark anything that still needs confirmation. Bring the information you already have rather than guessing a missing dimension.
Record the panel width, height and thickness. Keep these separate from measurements of the surrounding frame or opening.
Bring photos of the frame and both sides of the opening. Label available opening measurements and ask what else needs to be checked.
Photograph the hinge side and show how the door opens. Explain how the entrance is used and what you want to keep or change.
Record existing hinge and lock positions, parts or model information. Review the proposed door and hardware together before preparation or ordering.

Entry hardware detail. Compatibility is confirmed for the selected door and product.
Bring an entrance photo and explain the result you want. We can discuss the available product options with these questions together.
Would you like more daylight, more privacy or a different view through the entrance? Confirm how the glass choice works with the selected door.
Describe the look you want and any nearby finishes to coordinate. Ask about the selected product’s finish requirements and care information.
Tell us whether the entrance is sheltered and where sun or weather reaches it. Confirm product-specific suitability and care before committing to an option.

A nonstandard size, existing hinge location or unusual frame can change the practical options. Bring photos, labeled measurements or house plans so we can review the door, opening and preparation together. For several openings, identify which entrance each note belongs to.
Moore’s Doors can help you plan the door and hardware together. Not sure about sizes, handles, locks or hinges? Start with what you know, and we’ll help you work through the rest.
